No holding paws

Your dog chooses to scratch, so there's nothing to fight.

Gentle, a little at a time

Each scratch files a tiny bit, so there's no risk of cutting too short like with clippers.

Easy to learn

Most dogs get it in a few short sessions with the free 7-day guide.

Does it take two people to trim your dog's nails?

One person holds. One person clips. Your dog pulls their paws away, and everyone ends up stressed.

Maybe you've tried treats, a grinder or going slowly. Maybe you pay the groomer just for nails. If nail day feels like a battle, you're not alone.

Most dogs just stare at it at first

My poodle, Joy Joy, pulls her paws away the moment I reach for them. Every trim took two of us. When I found scratch boards, I learned most dogs need a little help to get started, so I made a simple plan:

  1. Lay it flat, so it feels safe.
  2. Reward any touch: a sniff, a step, a paw.
  3. Slowly raise the angle once they're pawing at it.

Your free 7-Day Training Guide walks you through every day.

My dog hates having his claws cut. Whether nail clippers or darts/Dremel. So I tried it out with normal food and lo and behold, it's actually great for the front paws. She quickly understood what the strap was for... I just have to think of something else for the back... . 🥺
